Cubitt Education facilitates meaningful engagement with contemporary arts practice, connecting artists and Islington’s communities.

Cubitt’s education programme works closely with schools, community centres and groups in Islington on a variety of long-term projects that provide skills training, and promote community cohesion and intergenerational conversation.

Our programme includes an artist-led programme for older people, a portfolio of artist studios in social settings – including a community centre, sheltered accommodation and a secondary school – and an artist-led programme for young people.

Through our Artist Social Club, we invite artist educators to come together to share practice and network. We also support teaching staff and other staff within our partner organisations, to develop skills, and learn through practice and collaboration with artists.
