Get the flash player here: http://www.adobe.com/flashplayer A group of young people have been working together at Platform to create a cross-arts performance called Flipside. The show launched on the 11the of April. It was a multi-sensory and participatory spectacle that took audience members into an alternate reality.
Artist and illustrator Emily Rand worked with Year 4 pupils at Thornhill Primary School during the Spring Term. Over the course of the term, each pupil created their own illustrated story book.
For the fourth Primary Art Network event, teachers were invited to Cubitt to interact with the exhibition: Same and Different, which contained children’s work from three primary schools. Artists Emily Rand and Giulia Ricci delivered sculpture workshops. Pupils from Thornhill school presented about the work they made that was on display.

Artist Rosanna Greaves’ workshops at Thornhill Primary School a part of Cubitt’s Community Cohesion project.
In August 2013 the Cubitt Young Artists attended a 5 day summer school at CSM focusing on the theme of Installation Art.
