The show launched on the 11the of April. It was a multi-sensory and participatory spectacle that took audience members into an alternate reality.
Artist and illustrator Emily Rand worked with Year 4 pupils at Thornhill Primary School during the Spring Term. Over the course of the term, each pupil created their own illustrated story book.
For the fourth Primary Art Network event, teachers were invited to Cubitt to interact with the exhibition: Same and Different, which contained children’s work from three primary schools. Artists Emily Rand and Giulia Ricci delivered sculpture workshops. Pupils from Thornhill school presented about the work they made that was on display.
