From 19th – 31st July 2011 Cubitt Education presented the first ever Festival of Blackboards; a series of free events exploring the future of arts and education.
Artist and craftsperson Andrea Taylor, worked with a small group of dementia sufferers at St. Luke’s Community Centre, to create works in ceramics. A special set of tea-light holders was made for the Spring Ball 2011. Get the flash player here: http://www.adobe.com/flashplayer

We held a small exhibition of works from across the programme in Studio Two, our first Community Studio, at Cubitt itself. Projects on display included Picturing Democracy; new posters and collages from Cubitt Seniors Art School; and work from Photoshop Club at Elizabeth Garret Anderson School.

The Cubitt Gallery have been doing a workshop about photography with Canonbury school. The workshop have been making videos, pictures and drawings. Alongside the ‘Everybody Click’ exhibition, Cubitt Education ran a series of photography workshops for children from a local primary school. This drawing and photography workshop took place here at Cubitt on 10th April 2009.
