Make friends, develop your art practice and experience your creative future this summer.

We’re excited to announce the details of Making Connections, our free 2018 Summer School for people aged 13 to 19.

“The Summer School showed me that you can take art anywhere and make it your own,” Participant, 2017

Spend three weeks developing your passion for art at the world-class facilities in Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts, London. During the Summer School, contemporary artists will lead sessions exploring photography, spoken word, printmaking and curating. Participants will create an inspiring personal project and produce their own exhibition. The group will visit an art gallery, develop their leadership skills and work towards an Arts Award Silver qualification.

Lead artists include:

Bettina Fung, performative mark making

Helen Ingham, printmaking

Sophia Thakur, spoken word and performance poetry

Natalie Keymist, photography

Helen Nesbit, curator
