Three weeks of fabulous and fantastical nonsense with Year 7s from Holloway School and local people over 55 from Cubitt’s Elders programme culminated in a brilliant final session last week. We enjoyed the screening of our nonsense animations facilitated and edited by artist Amanda Wayne at Lewis Carroll Children’s Library, before making our own luminous noses inspired by Edward Lear’s poem ‘The Dong with the Luminous Nose’ to wear during a brilliant, nonsensical and insightful talk by nonsense expert Dr. Victoria de Rijke. It was a brilliant end to a great project!
